Lars joined the military after his time in school. He served nine months of military basic service in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment that is part of the Danish army. Lars didn't think the military service was right for him, and so he started to search for something else and then decided to study biology. Anette, who had been working for the military for over a year, returned home from a juggler's class to show Lars how she was able to juggle in just three days. Lars was impressed and wanted to learn also. Therefore, he quit college and went to the juggler's school. There he learnt the art of juggling and fire breathing, in addition to other things. Then he went on tour with two of his friends as touring performers across Europe, where they performed in the streets of cities such as Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. In the following year, he came to a child's circus, where he also studied pantomime in addition to street theater and children's theater.
