Vinita Nair

She started at the station in July 2004 and reported on a wide range of topics, including that of the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as school shootings at Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. In this role she hosted live coverage and news briefs for ABC's online network. Nair anchors World News Now on ABC starting on September 17 onwards, 2008. up to the 18th of February, 2011 as well as America This Morning. On both shows, she was initially paired by Jeremy Hubbard. Later she worked alongside Rob Nelson. On the 17th of February the 17th of February, 2011 Nair announced that Friday, February 18 would be her final evening on air on World News Now. It would also be her last day with ABC News. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor on KDVR Denver, was her the direct successor. World News Now, February 18th, featured three tributes to Nair. Both former and current coworkers appeared on the segment. Nair treated her crew to an excellent breakfast at the end of her day. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
